Congratulations to everyone who managed to get tickets for Ginger’s Birthday gig, and commiserations to those who will miss out because the show has now sold out.

Preparations are already well under way, and It’s looking to be pretty special. No clues though: you’ll just have to wait and see what’s planned.

Ginger’s birthday bash returns to the Relentless Garage in London on 17th Dec 2010, following on the success of last year’s amazing event.

The last birthday show sold out within weeks – and for good reason. This is a one of a kind show.

Ginger will be supporting Maria McKee on Friday 14 August in Österlen, Sweden.

Ginger recently covered Maria McKee as part of his Secret History Of Rock’n’ Roll series for Classic Rock, describing her as “…such a talent. Authentic, magical and quite unlike any other voice“.

The evening is billed as “A Very Special Night at the Countryside of Österlen” from 7pm – 11.30pm at Kulla Dansbana, Rörum, Österlen.

Ginger has been confirmed to headline the one day Trash-Stock festival at Seven in Nottingham on Saturday 8th August.

“Ginger will be on stage at 10pm to play a set of songs from his extensive solo career. Tickets are still priced at just £10 advance – an absolute bargain to see Ginger, let alone the kick ass support line up which remains unchanged!”

Ginger will be playing a very special warm up show at the Asylum in Birmingham on 9th July before his mainstage appearance at this year’s Guilfest festival. Support comes from Sorry & The Sinatras and Tragedy.

Ginger and a very special band will be performing a Wildhearts set along with a few solo gems in Los Angeles at the Viper Room on 16th July, and then as special guests to the Toadies at El Rey on the 17th July

I’m playing LA, Viper room July 16th, El Rey Theater July 17th… Solo shows playing tons of Wildhearts songs with Billy Morrison, Scott Lipps and Michael Butler. Expect guests, expect surprises.

Ginger has been confirmed to appear on the main-stage at the Guilfest Festival.

Ginger will be appearing on the main-stage on Friday 10th July, alongside Motorhead and The Stranglers.

Ginger appears at a new one day festival in London on June 6 – Camden Rocks. Held in association with the Teenage Cancer Trust, ‘Camden Rocks’ promises to feature the very best of British talent.

Ginger is due on-stage at 8.15 at the Underworld for a 45 minute set, before Pete Doherty finishes the show.

In addition to Ginger, confirmed acts include – Carl Barat, Tyla & The Dogs, The Padingtons, The Black Spiders, EMF & Glamour Of The Kill

The one day event takes place at The Prince Of Wales, The Monarch, The Barfly and The Underworld, and will run from 12pm to 12 midnight (with an aftershow party running until the early hours).

35 ground breaking artists are slated to appear, and a number of DJs will appear including Lost Prophet Ian Watkin’s DJ alter-ego L’Amour La Morgue.
